Tenon

Tenon is beflo’s flagship smart adjustable desk, bringing height adjustment, integrated power and cable management, adaptive lighting, presence sensing and touchscreen control into a single workspace.

Its four-motor architecture provides smooth sit–stand movement, while the integrated interface brings desk height, lighting and other settings together in one place.

My role focused on developing and refining the wider Tenon system rather than the desk’s original aesthetic.

I designed key elements including the light diffuser, monitor stand and side accessory rail, developing them to feel like integral parts of the desk rather than additions. The rail also created a mounting architecture for accessories while becoming a distinctive part of Tenon’s visual character.

Beyond the physical components, I contributed to the development of the desk’s touchscreen UI and worked across the product to refine details, interactions and integration as Tenon moved toward production. The result was a workspace in which hardware, accessories and digital interaction were designed to read as one coherent system. An approach that remains central to how beflo describes Tenon today.
