Integrated laptop holder
I was tasked with developing a laptop holder for the Tenon desk, with a limited budget for new parts and tooling.
Rather than designing a separate product, I used elements that were already part of the desk: the slot in the desktop and the modesty panel below it. Together, these created an opportunity to store the laptop vertically inside the desk itself.
The final solution required only a small number of additional components while creating a more integrated result than a conventional external laptop holder. The laptop mostly remains hidden below the work surface, but can be accessed quickly when needed.
Work from home optimized
Combined with the docking station, the setup also supports a simple transition between desktop and mobile work. A single USB-C connection links the laptop to the desk setup, making it easy to disconnect and take the laptop on the go.
