Argil

Cable holders are usually immediately recognizable as cable holders. With Argil, I wanted to create something less conventional, an object whose function is revealed through interaction rather than its appearance.

The design integrates directly into the existing slot in the Tenon desktop, becoming part of the desk rather than another accessory placed on top of it. Its flexible silicone top allows a cable to be routed through the holder for a more permanent setup, or simply tucked beneath the tab when it needs to remain quickly accessible.

This dual interaction keeps cables close at hand while allowing Argil itself to remain visually unobtrusive. The result is a small, unusual object that turns a very ordinary piece of cable management into something more integrated and distinctive.
