Nike Shibuya Shoebox

Nike requested a set of 20 custom made shoeboxes made with their apparel waste for the opening of their Shibuya store. These boxes are made out of shredded Nike apparel mixed with recycled PET fiber. The materials were mixed and turned into layers of felt which were then heat pressed into large sheets. Out of the sheets I laser-cut all the pieces and used a router to route grooves where the material could then bend after applying heat. Some logos and shapes were embossed into the material.
